Here is my short & sweet on 3 Apps I love for tracking ovulation (and not falling pregnant). There are so many options out there, it’s hard to know which App / Method to trust, and what one is right for you!
Lucky for you, I have done the hard work and looked into what my favorite fertility coaches, functional nutritionist’s and period educators recommend.
Why might you be considering using an Ovulation tracking app? Lots of women I know want to get off the pill, but are scared of either falling pregnant or their pre-pill symptoms returning. Sound like you? I totally get it, I was on the same boat until I came across the “Fertility Awareness Method (FAM)”.
To put it simply, FAM uses Basal Body Temp, Cervical Mucus & your symptoms, to understand your bodies cyclic patterns and when you’re fertile, or when your period is coming. This is important for not falling pregnant but it’s also the perfect starting point for addressing your symptoms e.g. Acne (more next post).
My tops 3 ways to track ovulation.
Daysy – This BBT tracker takes ALL the work out of knowing when you’re fertile or not! Although, for a more comprehensive picture I suggest doing it alongside Kindara.
Kindara App – This period charting app is perfect for all your symptoms, mucus AND adding in your body temp! It’s the perfect tool for sharing with your practitioner too!
Flo App – If you want to start simple, start here. Get a basic outline of the body’s rhythms and then progress to temperature, mucus & ovulation tracking.
